I've been gone for a while, but it's time for me to get back to posting. With the state of affairs in the world continuing to slide down the drain, there's a lot of material for me to write about and share with you. It's not pessimism; it's just an honest assessment of what's going on. And no, not everything in the world is bad. There are a lot of great things going on in the world. But it would be naive of us to believe that everything going on is just peachy. In fact, as I discuss in the many posts previous to this one, there are people in this world who are feverishly toiling to see to it that us and our children are ruthlessly enslaved (even if such bondage is to be conducted without physical chains), if not eradicated from the planet. These claims may sound incredible to the uninformed, or the blissful, but hopeless victims of ubiquitous mental conditioning from those who control the corporately-designed institutions of society.
You already know that I've been reading, studying, researching, and that I've found some more interesting material to share with you. So let's get this show on the road!
I'll begin with an article from a guy who tends to think like me. The article discusses where we went wrong, and when the 'beginning of the end' was initiated. It seems to me that the end is always embedded in the beginning conditions. Maybe the case is that 'nothing lasts forever'. This would appear to be the reality of any situation. So maybe we are supposed to stand by and watch as good times turn into bad times. Freedom turns into slavery, debt and bondage. Wealth and abundance converted into poverty and scarcity. The champion turns into the loser. The powerful become the wimps. Maybe it's just me wanting the country I'm in to live up to the dream. But it just appears from my intense study (and the statistics) that the championship run is over.
Let's face it. It's HARD to stay on top. I'll use the overused sports analogy here. Think about any team. They have hard times. They are losers. They're the 'cream of the crap'. They get tired of it. They work hard. They make steady progress. They continue to rise. Then, they become champions. They win the big game or series. Then, other hungry teams eventually knock them off the top of the hill. They get old, fat, lazy, egotistical, comfortable, injured, etc. They then go into decline. They are no longer the champions. Other hungrier, younger, smarter, stronger, more well-conditioned, talented, hard-working teams eclipse them. You could actually identify it as the cycle of life. If you hadn't noticed, life works in cycles. Ebb and flow. Push and pull. Up and down. In and out.
I've studied America for a while now. We were the champs. But now, we're getting fat, dumb, lazy, conceited, full of hubris. This is NOT the formula for success! It's bad when you can't find anyone, even university-'educated' people who are willing to read. It's terrible when you have people who are afraid to question, muchless confront, government misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance of office, and then complain about it until 'the cows come home'. Cowards who speak of freedom. People who want freedom without sacrifice or eternal vigilance. People who seek independence while applying for government 'benefits'. People who want to reap without sowing. "Just give me the result. I don't want to do all that work." I was once told that 'when you shortcut the shortcut, you get nothing.'
I guess that I got a bit carried away there. It's just a bit frustrating to see good people suffer from a lack of commitment to anything substantive. America is full of people. Good people with talent and intelligence. But if we don't use it, we will lose it. We have too many people that have been conditioned to accept their bondage with a smile, just because it is 'sugar-coated' today. But you can put anything you want on shit. You'll just have shit doused with perfume, makeup, disinfectant, vitamins, etc. It won't nourish your body, no matter what you spray on it. In fact, it will kill you.
From the response I get (or more aptly, the lack of response), it appears to me that America is consigned to the horrible fate that awaits her, and those within her borders. Nobody can stay on top forever, no matter how much they want it. I guess that that's just the way it is. It's just a bit disheartening to see your cherished team fall off the top of the hill. The only thing is that there's a lot more at stake than some trophy in this game. Or is it?
To be continued...
